About the Speakers:

Jordan Rodney is the founder of Rodney Employment Law and the President of MaxPeople. He is an Employment Lawyer and a results-driven Human Resource professional with 20+ years of experience in employee and labour relations, negotiation, facilitation and change management, with his work being published and quoted in The Globe and Mail, Canadian HR Reporter, Lawyers Weekly and Advocate Daily. Jordan incorporates a customized approach for each of his clients in an effort to achieve the most practical and effective workplace solution. His focus is ensuring that his clients are equipped to handle workplace issues using innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Ilana Stern is the Sr. HR Manager, Advisory Services & Training at MaxPeople. A true extrovert, Ilana has always loved being around and helping people which is why she was drawn to a career in the Human Resources field. As someone who cares deeply about having an impact on people’s work lives, she is passionate about employee relations, training, development and leading complex workplace investigations. Tina Beauchamp, CPM, is one of ten subject matter experts in payroll legislation, research and training with the Compliance Services and Professional Development team at the Canadian Payroll Association. When she’s not assisting CPA members with their payroll inquiries Tina is writing and updating material for the CPA’s Professional Development Seminars and reviewing employer guides for the federal and provincial governments. Tina also facilitates several of the CPA’s professional development seminars and has written articles for payroll and financial publications, including the CPA’s Dialogue magazine and Canadian Payroll Reporter. Before joining the CPA in 2010 Tina spent 20 years managing both Canadian and U.S. payrolls for organizations in the retail, manufacturing and service industries. Tina has first hand knowledge in both the challenges and triumphs payroll professionals encounter on a regular basis and she enjoys the opportunity to share and exchange experiences with other payroll professionals.
